# Related Products

The Related Products section highlights items that complement the product currently being viewed. Displaying these suggestions helps customers discover more of your catalog, increasing engagement, average order value, and overall conversion rates. To enable and manage related product recommendations, ensure the Shopify Search & Discovery app is installed and properly configured.

### Step 1: Install the Shopify Search & Discovery App

1. Log in to your **Shopify admin**.
2. Go to the **Shopify App Store**.
3. Search for [**Shopify Search & Discovery**](https://apps.shopify.com/search-and-discovery).
4. Click **Add app** and complete the installation.

### Step 2: Configure Product Recommendations in the App

1. In your Shopify admin, go to **Apps > Search & Discovery**.
2. In the left menu, click **recommendations**.
3. On the **recommendations** page, click **Add recommendations**.
4. Search or select the **main product** you want to configure.
5. On the product’s recommendation page, add the **related products** you want to display.

### Step 3: Add the Related Products Block to the Template

1. In your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store > Customize**.
2. Select the **product template** where you want the feature to appear.
3. In the editor, click **Add Related product section**.
4. **Display the related products** from the list.
5. Save your changes.
