Product Creation in Shopify

To add new products to your Shopify store, you can follow these steps:

Steps to Create a Product in Shopify:

Step 1 : Log into Shopify: Access your Shopify admin panel.

Step 2 : Products: Click on "Products" from the left-hand menu.

Step 3 : Add Product: Click the "Add product" button.

Fill in Product Details:

• Title: Enter the product's name.

• Description: Provide a detailed description of the product, including features, benefits, and any relevant information.

• Media: Upload images, videos, or 3D models of the product.

• Price: Set the price for the product and optionally the compare-at price if you are offering a discount.

• Inventory:

  • SKU (Stock Keeping Unit): A unique identifier for the product.

  • Barcode (ISBN, UPC, etc.): If applicable.

  • Track quantity: Enable if you want Shopify to track inventory levels.

  • Continue selling when out of stock: Enable if you want to allow backorders.

• Shipping:

  • Weight: Enter the product's weight for shipping calculations.

  • Customs information: Add if you're selling internationally.

• Variants: If your product has different sizes, colors, or other options, click "Add variant" and fill in the necessary details for each variant.

• Search Engine Listing Preview: Edit the page title, meta description, and URL handle for SEO purposes.

• Organization:

  • Product Type: Enter the category or type of product.

  • Vendor: Specify the product's vendor or manufacturer.

  • Collections: Add the product to relevant collections.

  • Tags: Add tags to help organize and filter products.

Step 4 : Save: Click "Save" to add the product to your store.
